Hi, I’m Calli — founder of West End Tutoring and northern VA public school teacher.

I specialize in supporting elementary students who need additional help with phonics, reading, fluency, comprehension, writing, spelling, and executive functioning skills. I am certified to teach K-6 students with dyslexia, ADHD, and other learning differences using structured, research-based literacy instruction aligned with the Science of Reading.

My approach combines explicit, evidence-based teaching with engaging, supportive instruction that helps students feel successful and motivated. Every child learns differently, which is why tutoring sessions are personalized to meet each student’s specific needs, strengths, and goals.

This year, many of my students made significant reading growth — with several increasing multiple grade levels in reading performance through consistent intervention and confidence-building support.
